Freedom of Choice
Buying in Person
There is not a more exciting way to participate in a live auction than to be there in person. The location, the vibe, the cars, the people, and the excitement in the room are all a part of a Freedom Car Auction Event. We want to make your buying experience like no other! As part of the In Person registration process you will need to have a current form of Identification (driver's license or passport), a completed bidder registration agreement, as well as your registration fee and deposit. Upon successful completion of this process, registered bidders will receive their bidder number as well as one complementary guest pass.
At this point you will have time to browse all items to be sold. We recommend taking a close look at (inspect) the items you would like to bid on prior to the start of the auction. You may ask any question about your potential purchase and the Freedom Car Auctions Staff will help answer them or potentially obtain these answers from the seller. We feel this is important to your buying success and will also allow you to bid with confidence when your vehicle of choice rolls across the auction block.
All purchases must be paid for in full on the day of auction in U.S. currency, certified or cashier's check. Personal checks must be accompanied by an irrevocable bank letter of guaranty stating bid limit addressed to Freedom Car Auctions, dated for the auction event, and signed by officer of financial institution. (See the bidder registration packet for complete terms)

Reminders for Online Bidding:
- Bid Early to avoid disappointment by missing the fall of the hammer.
- When clicking the bid button, you are entering a binding contract to purchase the item(s)
- Also, keep in mind that with online bidding, connection issues, and software malfunctions can occur and are beyond the knowledge, scope, and control of Freedom Car Auctions. Online bidding is here for your convenience, but we are not responsible if this interrupts your bidding process.
Buying via Telephone
If neither in person nor online bidding is an option for you then one of our world class bidder assistants will be happy to help you make your purchase by telephone. This can be accomplished by completing and submitting all portions of the bidder registration packet, submitting the bidder deposit by credit card or wire transfer, and paying the bidder registration fee. Upon completion of the bidder registration packet an auction representative will contact you to prior to auction day to go over the telephone number where you can be reached on auction day as well as the lots you want to buy.
All telephone bidding registrations must be submitted no later than 3 days prior to the auction date. On auction day, the bidder representative will contact you approximately 3 lots prior to the lot(s) in which you wish to bid and will submit bids on your behalf to the auctioneer. In some instances, telephone availability is limited and telephone bids will be scheduled in the order in which they are received.
During telephone bidding, we encourage you to work with your bidder assistant by bidding quickly. Freedom Car Auctions cannot be responsible for service interruptions, late-arriving bids after the auctioneer has dropped the hammer, nor offer any guarantee that bidding by telephone may not be interrupted.
Tips For Successful Buying
Let the Terms guide you Before you place your first bid, we ask you to review the Terms and Conditions and any special details about the auction in which you are interested in bidding. If you have specific questions you should contact the registration agents posted in the auction listing.
1. Inspect & ask questions: On most auction events, we offer an inspection time before the auction. The inspection time is typically a day before auction day. This is your opportunity to ask questions and be fully informed before placing bids. 2. Auction Lots: The auction will typically sell in numerical order corresponding with lot numbers attached to each item. During our live auction events, a printed sale day buyers guide will be given to you upon registration. Descriptions can be found for the items in the printed buyers guide as well as on our website for online buyers.
Payment
Online bidders will receive an invoice at the conclusion of the auction. Onsite bidders will simply checkout at the registration/checkout counter. Payment in US funds must be made in full by the buyer, immediately upon the completion of the auction. You will receive a paid invoice upon payment, and this will be needed for pickup and removal. See auction terms for complete payment details.
